- When will I receive my VPS server?
- Once the order and payment are completed, the VPS will automatically start the installation process. Typically, it takes about 5-10 minutes, and then your server will be online and ready to be used. You will receive an email after ordering, confirming the server details such as IP, username, and password.
- Where is your VPS located?
- Valkyrr offers affordable VPS servers hosted in Denmark, specifically in our Albertslund location within the Adeo Datacenter. Our location features DDoS protection, a fast connection, and low ping times.
- Do you offer BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP)?
- Yes, we do offer the option for you to announce your own IPv4 or IPv6 subnet with us. We can also handle the announcement for you. However, please note that there is a low recurring fee for the BGP function, as it includes a port at NorthIX.
- Do you have DDoS protection?
- Absolutely. All our VPS servers come with DDoS protection, which actively defends your servers against attacks. Our hosting location in Denmark is equipped to filter DDoS attacks, ensuring the security of your server.
- How fast will my server run?
- The speed of your server depends on its usage. However, all our VPS plans come with an AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPU and DDR4, ensuring that you have top-of-the-line hardware for optimal performance.
- What internet/uplink speed do you offer?
- Our servers have a shared 1Gbit uplink, allowing you to utilize most of the capacity most of the time. While the speed may vary slightly due to sharing, our ISP provides a fast connection and peers with major ISPs in Denmark and Sweden, ensuring low ping times.
- Can I install a custom ISO (operating system) on my VPS?
- Yes, you can. If you don't see the operating system you prefer during the ordering process, simply select a Linux distribution and then contact our support team. We'll assist you with the installation of the custom ISO.
- What operating systems can I install on my VPS?
- As standard, we offer the most popular Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, and CentOS. However, we also provide Windows VPS upon request. Please contact our support team to place an order for a Windows VPS.
